Bylaw Part VIII(2) The Finance Committee shall be
responsible for supervising the financial affairs of the
congregation and shall … (a) Elect from its own
membership a secretary. (b) Conduct regular
meetings, not less than once a month, at such time and
place as the committee may determine. (c) Relay
all benevolence gifts immediately to the proper
recipients. (d) Clear payment each month of all
budget expenditures, doing so as each item warrants,
i.e., by blanket authority to the finance chairperson,
or by specific item. (e) Appoint a committee to
administrate the memorial funds of the congregation.
This shall include receiving and disbursing funds,
issuing cards of thanks, keeping the Book of Memory up
to date, and supervising all memorial projects. (f) The chairperson of the Finance Committee shall serve
as a member of the Staff Evaluation, Budget and
Executive Committees. |
