Financial Peace University

Help is on the Way!!!

We are living in difficult times. Few persons have been able to escape the financial hardships that have visited our society during the past couple of years. If you are included in that large number looking for some direction in financial recovery, help is on the way.

Beginning Sunday, September 12 at 6:00pm, Emmanuel Lutheran will be offering the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University. This is a 13-week course that will meet every Sunday evening.

The purpose of the course is to offer families and individuals the instruction, understanding and motivation for gaining control of their finances. Although Dave Ramsey will not be here in person, he will through DVD's make presentations that will provide much information to be discussed and hopefully acted upon.

Free introductory sessions that provide an overview of the course are being offered so individuals can determine whether or not they wish to enroll in the full course. The introductory sessions will be offered on Sunday, August 8 at 12:00 noon and Sunday, August 29 at 6:00pm in Room 200.

The classes will be held every Sunday evening, September 12 through December 5, for two hours. The homework each week will allow you to focus on your own financial situation, and you will not be sharing that information with anyone else in the class.

The cost per household for the course is $93.00, and teenagers are invited to participate in the classes. These classes are open to anyone in our community, and you may invite relatives and friends to take the course.

Don't miss this opportunity!
